Andros II - Post Healing Waters trip Nov. 2012

Alvin holding my 1st bone of the trip.  It was tailing first thing in the morning; we had cut the motor and had been poling for about three minutes when Alvin put me on the fish.  We inched up until about 50-60 feet at 10 o'clock.  The Bone was so intent on feeding that he inhaled the fly after one strip and then it ran.  It had been over a year since I had last hooked up and yet the elation of getting a shot and hooking up with each fish is indescribable.

A river among the flats.

Alvin's casting is among the best.

Randy helped host a Healing Waters trip with a number of veterans.  I was unable to join them on the front end, but did get to meet them on their last evening.  What a great bunch of guys.
